In the latter there is substituted for Medicines required by a former Proclamation, a new scale of such articles, the provisions and medicines such as may be approved by the Emigration Officer.
3 - To the notification respecting the Tonnage Check no objection, especially as it is proposed in the Passenger Act Amendment Bill now before Parliament, to exempt vessels from paying the Tonnage check altogether.
